Reflecting on MapSwipe in 2025: A Year of Growth and What Comes Next

MapSwipe had a fantastic year in 2025. We got a new backend, launched three new brand project types, secured our maintenance, and created a space for more continuity for our developers and anyone else interested in the more technical side of MapSwipe.

Amar and I, who are both on the MapSwipe Governance Team, got together to discuss the achievements our community has had in the last year, as well as what’s coming next in 2026.
